After building up vast experience in international logistics in Milan, in 1997 Massimo Elmi founded CTI, Cargo Trans International.
While he was working in the city in Lombardy, he came up with the idea of starting a branch in the Province of Treviso to cater to the needs of the eyewear industry. However, his plans soon changed and he ended up starting an independent business handling global shipments for more and more companies.

It has continued to grow over the years, opening new branches in locations such as Milan, Genoa and Modena, as well as a subsidiary in Hong Kong.
